INSTRUCTIONS FOR POSTER PRESENTATION
It is mandatory to register for the conference for poster presentation. If still not registered, kindly register yourself on priority basis. To register for the conference, please email on: pedendocon2024@gmail.com
Only undergraduate, postgraduates, senior residents and young faculties are allowed for poster presentation. E-posters are not allowed.
The investigator should be a postgraduate student and scientific work should have been done in any institution located in India. (enclose a certificate from HOD). Candidates need to send only abstract (max 500 words) for poster presentation.
You are expected to bring Physical posters at the conference site for display. The flex size should be 3 ft horizontal x 4ft vertical. Candidate participating in poster presentation has to be present physically at the time of presentation or will not be considered for award. The Poster must be fabricated in a PORTRAIT layout Title of the poster should be in CAPITAL letters.
Name of the presenting author, designations should be mentioned but not institute name. The poster should be prepared under the following headings- Introduction Objectives Material and Methods Results Conclusion Convey your content preferably in the form of visuals i.e., graphs, charts, diagrams, and photographs.
Citations not needed in the poster (you can add citation if your work is unique and requires one). The text should be readable from 2-meter distance (use large size print.) Always leave a breathing space around the text. Try to use a uniform font style.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR PAPER PRESENTATION
• The complete paper along with the abstract, (styled as per Indian Pediatrics) in soft copy must be submitted within scheduled time via e mail mentioned below.
• The cover page must include title of the study along with names of the institute and investigators along with their contact details.
• The identity of investigator/ Institution should not be displayed anywhere else in the paper.
• The investigator should be a postgraduate student and scientific work should have been done in any institution located in India. (enclose a certificate from HOD).
• Candidates who are already in possession of postgraduate degree and/or pursuing post
P.G. fellowship will not be considered
• The paper shall be subjected to review by experts appointed by IAP & Grow India. Only short-listed papers will be selected for presentation during the conference in each category. Rest will be considered for free paper/poster presentation.
Each paper should be having a cover page which will reflect:
• Title
• Author’s Name
• Affiliation
• Conflict of Interest
• Ethical Committee Approval no .(enclose copy)
• Abstract – should not exceed 250 words. Abstract should be in IMRC (Introduction, objectives, methods, results, conclusion) pattern along with 3-5 key words. It should be before introduction.
• Paper should be prepared in following heads-
• Introduction-150-250 words along with 5-8 references in bracket form.
• Objectives – specific
• Material and Methods – It should have setting, type of study, sample size, if any specific criteria/ definition with citation, sample collection process,
• Statistical methods, etc
• Results – It should be specific and relevant to objectives along with tables in sequence. All the tables should have a brief about results below it. Tables and figures should be in the relevant section along with citation in the text.
• Conclusion – It should have 3-5 recommendations based on study
• Implication – should be specific.
• References – References should be available on electronic data base. Google scholar/ Pub med. They should be written in Vancouver format. They should be in sequence as they come in text and should be cited properly.
• Word limit should be max 2500 words excluding abstract, table, charts, figures and references (in Vancouver style). Abstract should not exceed 350 words.
• The author’s name or institute name should not be written anywhere other than the title page. If written in between the manuscript, the committee has the right to reject the paper.
The Author should arrange his/her exhibit on the space allotted according to the number.
The conference assistant will help the author if asked for.
The Authors should remove their posters at the end of their presentation.
If any author fails to remove his/her paper at the end of presentation schedule, the same will be removed by the organisers and they will not be responsible for any loss / damage of such paper.
Please Note: Student must ensure display of poster before stipulated time.
They are supposed to be present near poster during the scheduled timings.
Timings will be communicated to candidates well in advance.
